Claudia Falzarano of Right Arm Inc. helped a friend save her hair in 2011 when she learned the devastating news that she had breast cancer and needed chemotherapy. Claudia turned to family friend Marjorie Thompson, an Associate Dean of Biological Sciences at Brown University, and one of the first users of Penguin Cold Caps in the U.S. Marjorie mentored Claudia in the fine art of cold capping, and while she sadly succumbed to a long battle with ovarian cancer in 2014, her legacy lives on through Right Arm – by saving as many heads of hair as possible.
Mission
Back in 2011 Weill-Cornell in NYC quickly took notice when Claudia’s friend finished chemo with a full head of hair, and Claudia was asked to become its resident cold capper. Word spread throughout the Tri-State area, leading to the expansion of Right Arm.
Today Right Arm coaches and aids cancer patients who use Penguin Cold Caps to prevent hair loss during chemotherapy throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Its capping team, personally vetted and trained by Claudia, is unequalled in results, professionalism, dedication, and reliability. Right Arm is committed to providing personalized assistance to anyone in need. Whether simplifying complex information or streamlining the overwhelming, Right Arm lends support with confidence, experience, and kindness.
